Solid, solid goal. That wouldn't have been possible had Borini not made that run to pull the CB away

Took the words out of my mouth.

This is the most underrated thing in football. I hate that no one ever does this in pickup soccer. Works every time.

Borini has been a huge part of all 3 goals since he's been in.
DO THIS IN THE LEAGUE a-hole (fantasy)

Do we get points for runs off the CB?

Liverpool = New Orleans Saints
Just outscore your God awful defense.

Eh, no but he's clearly more involved in this role, and if it continues hell get goals/assists at least

I'd love that considering I also have him on my fantasy team.

Henderson man of the match for me. Leader in the midfield, performed his role as well as he could.
Shelvey and Suso were both magnificent. The midfield did a great job.
Borini was much much better. I don't rate Pacheco at all. Just don't see what he has to offer to the squad.
Carragher and Enrique were absolutely horrid.

I agree.
Borini also deserves a mention. I know you and I have said it a million times, but his biggest strength is his movement and we saw that today. On his good days, I've never seen a player able to unlock a defense as well as he can without ever touching ball. Happy for him.

As a whole I was impressed with the calming and controlling effect they had. They were collected and patient. It showed.

As usual.

He's such an easy target when there is a poor result.

He is, and its a consequence of the nature of his play. He isn't that controlling presence everyone expected we would get when we signed a new striker. Nevertheless, he is incredibly effective at what he does.
