I want to wish him the best...but he just made Chelsea very very dangerous. frick.

And with that move...the Roy Hodgson era has been cleared out...maybe a blessing in there

I'll sure miss Raul. He was brilliant last year, and he's been very productive in the limited action he saw with us this year. I hope he sucks for Chelsea.

I didn't see Raul writing a transfer request. Shite. Maybe that middle finger was shot at Kenny. Raul will walk alone.

I think he was brilliant in mid season...solid through out...but clearly wasn't more than a sub in KKs plans...
Now the only 2 people who scored for us against Chelsea last year, are now at Chelsea

Meireles makes Chelsea better, but doesn't seem to hurt 'Pool as much, unless they have a shitton of injuries and suspensions. It's interesting that though he played a deep-lying role at Porto, he wasn't all that good defensively. It will be interesting to see how he's deployed at Chelsea. I imagine he's a replacement for Essien in AVB's 4-3-3.

He's a DM for Portugal, too... But he wouldn't ever put in a a tackle with us...
He's a solid b2b mid that excelled at nothing...

I think Hodgson tried him at DM the first half of the season. Thats why he sucked balls. He didn't play well until KK moved him much forward. Then he played very well.
10-12M for a bench player is always good.

El Zhar and Degen are both out too.
All the dead beats are finally gone.

Hodgson's short era has ended. This is now almost completely King Kenny's squad.
Posted on 8/31/11 at 6:53 pm to LSUSOBEAST1
Only Hodgson player left is GK Brad Jones.
