How to screen out good USMNT coaches

Less than 150 MLS games coached need not apply.
-Tata need not apply

Must speak English.

Everybody say hello to a coach that primarily is from the MLS.

Heard this this morning on Sirus FC 'The football Show'. In the meantime El Tri will probably be getting Tata.

They will only consider coaches with 150 mls games coached.

They also mentioned it during half time of the game.

Pretty sure they didn't mention anything about the new manager must have coached a minimum number of MLS matches.

This isn't a matter of opinion. Either they said it or they didn't.

Twellman did say that at half, or something similar. I sipped too much weed and don’t remember the specifics, but he was talking about the job and coaches with at least 150 mls games.

If it ends up being berhalter I’ll probably just shoot myself.

Ernie Stewart needs to clear this up. Not that there arent good coaches in the MLS, but the best coaches in the world arent in the MLS.

i just assumed that was part of the criteria for MLS coaches they were possibly looking at? Surely he's not excluding every other coach in the world that hasn't coached in the mls?!?! ....right?.....right???

Right.

Earnie has been fairly successful at all of his stops. He knows what he's doing.

He may end up hiring an MLS manager, but it won't be because he was only looking at MLS managers and he won't have some arbitrary 150 game minimum requirement.

I thought they were just using that graphic last night to illustrate how much experience the potential American MLS candidates had.

That's exactly what they were doing.

If they hire an MLS manager, we should riot.

Please explain why we’ve waited this long to, in that case, hire someone we could have hired a year ago?

I guess I'll explain it yet again...

If your entire organizational pyramid is vacant, you don't hire the guy at the bottom first. You start at the top and work your way down.
