Our largest financial investments should be striker, CAM, LB, and GK
I agree, they have to get EPL level starters at those 4 positions.
In midfield I think Ampadu and Tanaka could potentially do the job, but you probably replace Gruev with someone who could maybe push to start if one of them isn’t up to it. Maybe get Rothwell on a permanent if the price is right.
I think the Rodon Pascal pairing may be enough at CB also, but like midfield you need depth at a minimum and ideally at least one potential starter if one of those two don’t transition well.
Maybe Bogle is okay as a starter if the other side is solidified? Need to upgrade depth at a minimum. Thank Sam for the job he’s done.
What they do with the wingers will be interesting. Can they get Solomon on a decent price? Whatever the case they need to make sure they can be killers on the counter.
Send Joseph to the championship on loan for the season for experience.

Some targets i like:
GK: Zion Suzuki (American born japanese intl - Parma)
LB: (i think Firpo returning to Betis has secretly been agreed)
Hugo Bueno (Wolves- on loan at Feyenoord)
CM: Rothwell, Anthony Dennis (Goztepe), Alfie Doughty (Luton), Hayden Hackney (Middlesbrough) Andy Irving (West Ham)
Attacking 8/10: Giorgi Chakvetadze (Watford)
Winger/Forward: Solomon, Sam Bell (Bristol City), Wilson Isidor (Sunderland), Dango Ouattara (Bournemouth), Armando Broja (Chelsea)
Isidor would be perfect if Sunderland doesn’t go up. We need to not snub high end championship recruitment. Was supposed to be the plan last time before Orta actually got to spend money (Rodrigo over Watkins for instance). Wonder if we’ll be active in the loan market. We just need to move quickly. We can not put ourselves in a bind and throw away the first month of the season sorting out the squad. We won’t make up that ground like we did in the championship.

Isidor would be a nice addition. Finding Championship players who can make that leap to the Premier League will be paramount to our success if we are promoted. Also, we need to find some potential gems like Raphinha from the leagues on the continent. Right now, I can see the following players leaving: Bamford, Harrison, Gruev, Firpo, Gnonto, Wober, and possibly Meslier. I could also see Chambers, Debayo, and Gray getting more time with the senior squad. It's going to be an interesting six months. I also agree wholeheartedly with getting everything sorted early. Can't afford a slow start.

Their best player who makes things click for them is out
Let’s gift them the ball inside our area for a beautiful goal to make this extra hard on ourself

So now we are in a waiting pattern until 70 minutes at least to see if we can steal a point
