I’d look at Knutsen from bodo glimt. Love watching them play. Corberan would be an easy hire but watching his huddersfield teams they were nothing like Bielsa teams despite the similar training methods. Getting canned after only a month at olympiakos also doesn’t look great. We’ll probably end up with washed Ranieri.

We are def getting an old re-tred. I wish we would throw the bag at Viera.

Maybe we can just retread with Marcelo.

It’s a shame because would have been cool to see Sini, Adams, and yank badger in his system.

Just listened to tPhilcast

Hard to disagree with any of he and Dan’s views. I do disagree on how it would be very Leeds to get a result next weekend. We are going to get killed.

Looks like villa is hiring Emery. We should get on the sporting guy before wolves throws the Portuguese bank at him

Yeah listening now, I think I feel like most everyone else at this point.

Just resigned to the fate of this season.

Just hoping at some point we play Sini, Jackie and the like out wide to try and open space for passing and play in the box

If that is the case then it would really appear the board has no damn continuity plan at all.

Going from Marcelo to this chap in 8 months, damn man life comes at you fast.

If he is hired I am struggling to see what any of the last 3 gaffers have in common.

It’s just dumb Twitter rumors im sure but the thought of Bielsa to Dyche in less than a year is frightening. I’d rather bring in the dude who almost kept Burnley up

I'm really disappointed with Marsch. I thought he learned from his stints with Red Bull in Europe but nope, continues to make the same mistakes in his transition defense which is awful. Any team can pick Leeds off by calmly switching the field during a transition phase from defense to attack. His tactics have been pretty woeful and elementary of late and I don't see him making any real adjustments to change these results.

His pressing really leaves a lot to be desired.

I lol’d at how we kept pressing villa with 10 men. Thankfully they were so inept under Gerrard they couldn’t figure out the way through. Even Loco Bielsa had us back off after cooper got sent off against city and we somehow won

Really like Marsch as a person but the system is not good. You need absolutely elite talent to make it work.

"the system is not good" is truly an understatement. We've gotten 2 points out of the last 21-24 points available against sides in the BOTTOM half of the table!!

Btw you see that Harvey Barnes goal when we played Leicester? Last 6-7 goals we've conceded have come off plays similar to that one.

Lose ball
Press fugly af
Opposing team finds overloading wide man
Proceed to switch from one side to the other using an extra man
Leeds tries to stay compact allowing opposite wide man open
???
Goal

It's REMEDIAL!!

I felt so bad for Koch (who for the most part has been great this year) and Llorente against Leicester. The CBs get exposed so bad because the fullbacks are so high up the pitch trying to provide the width that our wingers should provide but can’t because they’re tucked in so narrow. You need CBs who run a sub 4.3 in the 40 yard dash to make up for all the gaping spaces in behind once we turn it over

With the agility of a humming bird to be able to cut, stop, and start on a dime.

It really does appear to be a terrible system unless you have a bunch of superstars running about. Just to easy to pick and drag people out of position.

Which leads me to my next point. Rasmus is just way too slow for the Prem. Dude takes forever to go up and come back most of the times. He was supposed to be a great signing cuz of his amazing attacking prowess but we haven't seen any of that so far. Idk I think Orta might need to go if January doesn't pan out for homie.

I feel like Rasmussen has looked decent compared to the rest of the back line.

The system sucks on the counter. Like others have said it works great when you have a talent advantage but that’s not the case for Leeds and it’s just too predictable and too easy to pick apart.

Well that would make it his first January to pan out, so bye Orta take Angus along with you and his stupid condescending program notes

I get that Rasmussen meh performances are a product of Jesse's tactics, but he was a player that was signed on to make a world of difference at RB. He was supposed to flourish under Jesse due to the Red Bull connection but he's actually been pretty bad compared to his Bundesliga stats last season. And like I said he's sloooowww, zero pace to burn in a position that requires a bit of it unless you're Trippier or sumn.

Ayling starting should be a warning sign.

It felt good to hear the Luke Ayling chant again

Otherwise Sunday was a not very enjoyable day
