As much as I want to USA players to stay up in EPL. The silver lining if they are promoted to championship is games will be on espn+

That’s because it has, they are much more passive try to play counters etc
But here is the crazy part, we suck at defending so playing counters is essentially non existent because the other side scores before we can counter

We’ve still scored enough goals across certain games where a team that could competently defend in front of a goalkeeper that hasn’t completely lost the plot would’ve squeezed out a couple more points

Statistically Meslier has been one of the worst keepers in the league. Looking at those old rosters you post is telling. The majority of the defense wasn’t really upgraded from the championship.
