LigaMX not keeping their best Mexican players at home is hurting it’s quality
I think it has more to do with Mexico not producing much quality as of late, which is why Liga MX has made it even harder for its natty team players to go abroad.
FMF continues to somehow out-retard itself year after year.

just fricking wild, Leagues Cup is soccer americanized.

I mean the majority of their Gold Cup/Nations League squad was Liga MX and their U-20's are majority Liga MX.
Yeah, you have your Santi Gimenez, but for the most part all of their young talent is still based domestically... they are just not as good. Or maybe they are as good as the past (outside of the 2009 golden gen), but I think it's abundantly clear that USSF has surpassed FMF in terms of talent production and the rest of CONCACAF is closing the gap.

Wait holy shite, Nashville won?!??? I turned it off.

Nope they won.
I just rewatched it. Like 5 minutes after the game was over, VAR reviewed the pen and said GK was off his line. Nashville ended up winning.

Yep. I watched whole thing. Never turned it off
It got lost on the celebration and fans running on field but the VAR had immediately signaled review for goalie coming off line on the last America save.
He very clearly did. Not even close.
So Nashville got to retry. Made it. Did take them like 10 minutes to clear field of fans and debris.
Then America missed in next round. Nashville won it.

If you throw food/drinks at the fans, you should not be allowed to host going forward.

Pathetic job all around by refs, tv announcers, tv cameraman, etc. as there was no indication by anyone the game wasn’t over for 7 mins.

Pretty sure those were Club America fans in Nashville

Quarter matchups:
#23 Queretaro @ #6 Philly - Philly favorite
#43 Charlotte @ #32 Inter Miami - Miami favorite
#26 Minn @ #14 Nashville - Nashville favorite at home
#1 Monterrey @ #9 LAFC - Monterrey should be favorite but at LAFC so close one.
Definitely 2/4 in semis from MLS.
Chalk is prob 3/4.
Could be 4/4.

I have a friend who went to the game, left because he thought they had lost and missed the end result

Probably a blessing in disguise considering an enraged América fan would've stabbed him if he stayed.

The butt hurt by their fans on MLS socials is hilarious

Hoping for an excellent appetizer before a full weekend of EPL.
