In general I agree with you. The targeting of individual players is a bit weird to me when everyone looked so shitty. I think the disappointment comes from the fact that we had been playing so well this cycle only to completely shite the bed and look worse than we previously had in other cycles in the round that counted the most.

Well Belgium just lost to Spain.
So the truth is it was all hype from a dilluted 48 team field.
We all got excited for 2 weeks because we beat one team that should have never been in the WC, one crappy team, and then played like shite and lost to the only decent team in our group.
Then got our arses kicked the first time we played a "real" team.
