It appears the upstarts out west have stolen all of our Atlanta United thunder. Exciting team that can score and is running the league.

Let’s hope Atlanta can get their shite together and have a showdown at the end of the year.

Not really

They have been killing it since day one

And have taken a different approach than Atlanta

Both have been very successful ways to operate but LAFC has a more holistic vibe to it.

LOL

LAFC routinely talked with Atlanta United about how they were building their franchise (in terms of business operations and building an organic fan base). They picked the brains of Atlanta and learned from their findings.

As far as play on the field, it’s not surprising that LAFC has been so good. They have talent and a well-built roster.

For one ATL doesn’t have a SSS and play on plastic pitch

Your argument is defeated

Sure they may have picked their brains but they one upped ATL and have already created an intimate setting with the stadium, training ground and youth academy all in the heart of the city.

Things like having the supporters have a say in stadium design is stuff ATL did not do.

I can assure my argument is not defeated since I was one of the people who met with LAFC multiple times, but nice try.

Doesn't their training ground have a grand total of one field?

That's fine. I love what LAFC did, and I really liked their executives.

Personally, I think sharing a stadium with the Falcons is well worth it to be run a lot more like an NFL club. The organization does a ton for the team that they really could cast aside in terms of what brings $$$ to the business.
