Neymar, Hazard, Walcott, Lukaku, Schurrle, Oscar, Lucas Moura, Sakho, Welback, De Gea, Mario Gotze, Muller, Nastasic are all making at least $70k per week, some making more. And then you have guys like Oxlade Chamberlain, Rhaheem Sterling, and Pogba who are about to join that club as well.

And, again, Ive seen a lot of different numbers when it comes to James wages. The numbers are all over the place. Ive seen where it says hes making $6m a year, and then ive seen where it says hes making under $1m a year to making $1.2m a year. Im so confused right now

And something that is interesting is that its been reported that he wants to leave Monaco. He said this before the World Cup and said once its over he will figure it out. So thats interesting for sure.

They are making more than $70k. Remember the pound sterling. The threshold of a great contract in the sport is 100k.

You are seriously overestimating the wages of some of these players. Welbeck is not anywhere near 100k. Neither is Oscar, nor De Gea, nor is Muller, nor Lukaku, nor Moura, and I'd be surprised if Nastasic was more than 100k.

And Monaco's total cost for Rodriguez is going to be around 83 mil euros. 45 for the transfer and 35 mil for wages, without agent fees. The lowest number reported for James was 83k, and the highest has been 115k. Only Hazard was on that money as a 21 year old, and Gotze too. It absolutely makes no sense for him to be bought for 45 mil to a newly promoted Ligue 1 team and then to be paid less than a million. Monaco gave him a massive contract to entice him to come there.

If James does want to leave, the transfer fee will be upwards of 65mil or more.
