I like the move. I really think that this move was made to persuade some of the Germaricans to flip to the USA. This provides some peace of mind that he will be here through 18.

He deserves it, he's done a fantastic job.
That being said, 0-3 in the WC could certainly happen. It could happen to any US coach in this group. I don't think it will fwiw.
