I'm all for blaming Jurgen, but that sounds fishy as hell. Doesn't help knowing how salty and stuck up the majority of commentators connected to the USMNT are.

There's no way, no way that's true. He did some stupid shite (and there's the story he was planning on pulling Howard for Rimando in the Concacaf Cup if it went to penalties before Fabs pulled himself out) but Howard was still a top tier keeper in the world.
