I know that the posters on here hate all things Brasil, but Neymar will be the best player in the league for many years.

He's top 3 already.

Its time to stop the hate. You will enjoy the game a lot more once you release yourself of this hate.

Just watch the beautiful game and enjoy!

Neymar is fantastic, but I don't know if he will ever reach the 1 goal per game average that Ronaldo and Messi hovered around since 2009. The length and consistency of Ronaldo and Messi's goal scoring record will be hard to ever match. Because of this, a goalscoring record that was once impressive will pale in comparison for a few years, until everyone forgets how amazing Ronaldo and Messi were. It was once the case that a striker was elite if he scored 25 goals a season. It is still elite, but it isn't legendary like Messi and Ronaldo's goalscoring records. Neymar has the talent to do it, but it will be very hard to surpass those two players.

Good points, but if he is " the guy " he could come close to a goal per game now. He still has 12 years of elite play.

He'll have to grow up like Ronaldo did before he ever gets the respect his talent deserves. Right now he's just like Suarez in that he's an ultra talented little prick who is known just as much for his disgraceful cheating antics/theatrics as he is for his talent.

Hopefully playing alongside Messi will eventually rub off on him and how to do it right.

You routinely show on this board you soccer knowledge is sub par. Sorry if i don't buy the sarcasm.

And yet do it again. Say he needs to play in a real league yet you don't watch any La Liga, so really know nothing about the standard of football thats played.

Yea I have no idea what hes on about.

Neymar and Suarez are nothing a like.

Neymar is just a product of the new hip/hop generation dressing like he is in a west coast music video.

Neymar seems like a great guy. I really don't get the hate at all.

It was more so a jab about his unending obsession with linking Suarez to any conversation he possibly can. Frankly, I wouldn't be surprised if he works Luis Suarez into a Poli board discussion about flat tax rates or student debt loan forgiveness or something.

Sarcasm implies that I didn't really mean it's sub par.

And I have never said I know much about different leagues.
