I just don't understand how this shite can work over there. Like when Masch sat out a match cause he wanted to leave, or Pienaar last week with Everton.
If I had a teammate who wanted out and then abandoned us in anyway while he pursued something selfish, I'd lock his arse out of the locker room.
This whole situation is a mess but one thing is clear, if he does end up staying, he'll never be quite the fan favorite he was.

One rumor was by helicopter, but he left by car. Soccernet.com has a running blog that is pretty good. I will be following it all day.
