I saw a story about it on Yanks Abroad twitter. This is a huge blow obviously but we played well in Mexico without him Dempsey or Altidore. So I think we will still be able to put enough quality talent on the field to take Jamaica.

Good thing we have Maurice Edu.

It is funny because Edu sucks.

I think we'll see Beckerman slot in, unless we're going to see Jones, Beckerman, and Edu in the center of the pitch (Please god no!)

Edu might be our first choice at CB, honestly.

This has to be it. Beckerman is the closest thing we have to Bradley. High percentage passer who does the little things.

Yes. People are going to bitch and moan about seeing Beckerdreads on the field, but the fact is that right now, with Bradley and Holden unavailable, Beckerman fills that role. Might as well get used to it.

Edu isn't a bad player. He works ok in a holding role but losing Bradley is huge. Jamaica is much better than have been in previous years. They may very well cause us problems. I don't see why people hate Edu and rate Jones. Jones picks up a card a game, is loose in possession, and is too similar to Bradley. I find he often takes up positions that Bradley would be taking up making Bradley less effective.

Seems like a good time to give a look at Williams in that role. WCQ might not be the best time but there's no way he could be worse than Beckerman and with Bradley out I don't see another time when he would get a shot.

Danny Williams could very well be worse than Beckerman in that role. He could also be much better, but I'm not sure that now is when we wanna find out.

Well Danny Williams plays for Hoffenheim and Kyle Beckerman plays for RSL. Williams isn't as good as Jermaine Jones but I do think he could play well enough.

Would love to see Jones and Williams paired together.

Give the man the chance to play in his natural position.

I've been wanting Jurgen to do that for a while. I just think that a Concacaf road qualifier is not the right time to do that, especially when Beckerman has been consistently good for us recently.

The real question is does Carlos get a call up? I have to say yes, despite him playing in the Scottish fourth tier.

Is boca at the end of his USMNT run? Might be a dumb question, but I sincerely don't know.
I figured he'd be a shoe in for this game but seeing y'all speak differently has me wondering

Should be.

I don't think for this type of game we will miss Bradley THAT much.

Especially when you have Beckerman, and Jones. No worries.

He will be 34, almost 35 in 2014, which might be a bit old.
