Is the US golden generation also the softest generation?

They have a metric ton of talent, but they also have be the softest mental group of US players I have ever seen. Carli Lloyd nailed it postgame when she said these guys had lost before they even started the game.
Pulisic is the poster child for this. dude clearly has talent, but just a raging bitch like so many of them when shite hits the fan. also, dest should never see the field again.

Adams and McKennie played their asses off the entire tournament. They should be the faces of the team going forward.

Both were also pretty bad and sloppy last night.
Only could US soccer manage to have all 11 of our guys play their worst game of the tournament in the most critical game of the tournament.
Was a collective embarrassment and collapse.

Sad part is a lot of these guys have high pressure game experience. They've played in intense derbies, UCL finals, FA Cup finals, WC knockouts, etc. they should not have been so shaken by the moment.

Didn't think about this until after, but this may have been the last time we got to watch these two be key pieces of a World Cup team for the USMNT.

Our midfield last night (Leverkusen, Bournemouth, Juventus) got destroyed by Club Brugge, Rangers, and Aston Villa midfielders. That should be a wash at worst or US dominance at best. Why was it so one sided?
I agree they are mentally weak regardless.

In retrospect it would've been better to play like shite against Bosnia and squeak out a victory. The focus and sense of urgency would've been better last night. Instead our players were reading their own headlines.
