It’s amazing how he walks us through every step of a transfer from inquiries all the way to Here we go. If he’s ever “wrong” it’s usually due to some frickery involving agents or clubs backing out of a deal. Also does it without a trace of arrogance. Dude has crazy sauces.

People hate on Romano for "saying the same thing over and over again" but wtf do people expect. When dickhead Arsenal, United, and Chelsea fans ask the same shite all day everyday, you are bound to repeat yourself a few times.

I think what makes Romano the G.O.A.T is that he's only like 28.
He also covers damn near 200 clubs it feels like. Woj just has 32 and Shams is his only real competition.
Every European club has their own insiders which makes Romano even more impressive.
For example, Arsenal alone has like 7 "insiders" with varying degrees of credibility (David Ornstein, Charles Watts, Chris Wheatley, James Benge, Amy Lawrence, Art deRoche, even James McNicholas) yet Fab outscoops all of them with the exception of Ornstein.
