8:00 Cst, ESPN2

Clearly, this is a test run for Jurgen. Most of this roster will not play a major role in this year's WCQ hexagon.

I'm hoping to see a solid game from Gonzalez and Zusi, as those two have the most to gain from a sound performance. Both are viable first team starters at relatively weak positions for us. Zusi plays centrally in MLS, but I expect his future with the US is out wide. Omar has the talent to step in and steal a starting CB spot. Huge opportunity for him.

Make way for the man who will score at least seven goals tonight...

Zusi played out wide for Sporting KC this past season. In prior years, he's played centrally.

I think Omar is a known quantity already regardless of his lack thereof national team experience. I think Matt Besler has the most to gain tonight as the depth of centerback pool is quite thin.

Any positives from Justin Morrow, Alfredo Morales, Will Bruin, Ale Bedoya, or Josh Gatt will also be a plus.

I will be watching the game for these guys and GAM. Don't really know Justin Morrow.

Yeah, can't wait to see how some of the young guys play, what's our depth at LB? I know Fabian is the starter but who's after? Parkhurst?

Lacking. I think Boca is our next option at LB with Goodson filling in at CB as it stands now

After Goodson's performance at Antigua and at Russia, I think his time is just about up if these young guys can step it up and prove they can play. I hope we play an up tempo style tonight to see how well we attack, and also to maybe test our back line a bit if they get stretched

Should be:

Chandler
Lichaj
Parkhurst
Pearce

Bocanegra

Castillo

As Klinsmann rates them now, it's probably:

Castillo
Bocanegra
Robbie Rogers

I think it's more a matter of when and not if Omar takes his spot.

That's what it looks like. I like the fact that if everything works out, we'll have 2 athletic starting CB's who are both around 6'3-6'4 for the WC, and Omar has proven he's an aerial threat.

According to reports during this camp, Besler might be ahead of Goodson on the pecking order.

Honestly, I haven't either, he'll definitely be a player I'll try and keep an eye on tonight...

I was kind of dissapointed when he resigned with SKC. I can understand him wanting to stay with his hometown club, but he had multiple offers to ply his trade in the EPL. With the condensed season, it's be tough for him to reach his full potential in the MLS.

I think he probably felt he could develop more in the mls starting every game for a top club than going to the epl at such a young age and not being an every match starter. he will get to europe in due time. he was only a rookie last year if i remember correctly

I agree with Tweezy. Right now I would prefer to see our guys get a lot of starts and PT over training with a better side and not as much PT.

Besler is 25 and this will be his fifth season in MLS. Kansas City is his hometown. Staying there instead of USMNT Limboland in Scandinavia is probably a better move.

I'd love for Gatt to really ramp up his game.
