I’d say give the kids more domestic league soccer

How would qualifying even work? Are we just perpetually qualifying? I think we need a normal WC and the Europa league tier world cup in off years

The top players aren't going to go for this. The added wear and tear on their bodies aren't worth it. You'll see so many opt out every other tournament it'll be like bowl season in America.

Its special because the stage is massive. You get one shot every four years and that's it. Making it occur more often cheapens the product.

Qualifying is already going to mean much less with the expanded field in 2026. With this they will probably have auto qualifications based on rankings for a vast majority of the field and have qualification for the rest of the spots for the countries that shouldn’t be there anyway
