Well, Rafa, you're the one who was terrible in our "amateur" league. Granted he did say we have potential. But frick him and that mass of land he calls his home.

I wish he were more specific about what he means about an amateur setup. In some ways I might agree. We've come a long way in a relatively short period of time, but we might have done better if an academy system was in place 15 years ago.

We are the deepest we've ever been in our player pool, which is reassuring because our youth development has been so hit or miss.

I agree that had he not been worthless he wouldn't have such a shitty opinion of the league.

I assume his remarks of amateurism are relating mainly the MLS. He can't be that dumb to think the national team set up is amateur. If that's amateur then what the frick is Mexico in the last year?

It all depends what he means by set up. Does he mean coaching, team/league infrastructure, or even just training grounds or something else?

Results and set up may be two different things but one affects the other.
