Sparked from reading this tweet:

Who would @piersmorgan want to replace Wenger? Jurgen Klopp from Dortmund, Jupp Heynckes from Bayern Munich, even Jose Mourinho. #BPLonFOX

I doubt Klopp would leave a perennial Champions League side for Arsenal. Jose? Sounds like it would be a colossal shitshow. Heynckes is a great manager but he's so old, I don't know if he would want to try to turn a team around.

Didn't mean to pile it on. I'm just saying, he's loved in Dortmund and he has a great squad. He'd have to do some rebuilding at Arsenal.

What was it like 11 straight CL appearances for Arsenal? They really only need to purchase 2/3 solid to influential players to truly compete. They will have the funds to get 2 talented players, so there really isn't all that much rebuilding moreso than a turnaround in attitude. Got to adopt a winners mentality, players are possibly too soft but are certainly lacking a true leader.

Jose to Arsenal would suck. I've already got Muschamp butchering the style associated with my football team.

Even if we miss the CL, we're well set going forward. Decent young core.

I say a rebuilding because I would bet there will be a guy wanting to leave for CL football plus it will be hard to really splash cash on experience players without being in the CL.

i wouldn't be so sure about that…. Arsenal will need experience, and no draw of CL football will hurt big time in their quest to land that experience….

missing CL football would be a huge hit to Arsenal, under the circumstances….
