First of all, I'm honored I posted the first reply to this thread. Secondly, I think this is one of the best TD threads in it's wealth of information and lingo.

Jacqui Melksham : Australian women's referee. Like Koman, Jorge, and Count Chocula, she hates America. In the quarterfinal match between America and Brasil, she red carded an American after a Brasilian dived, gave a PK, forced the PK to be taken again for no reason, allowed an offside goal for Brasil, and allowed time-wasting past Portuguese levels

Can we change this to Italian levels?

I suggest making a sub-section just for bad refs. Hugh Dallas should be on there for missing the Torsten Frings handball in the 2002 WC. And, although he didn't screw the US, Byron Moreno should definitely be on the list for calling a dive on Totti against South Korea when it should have been a PK.

I might work on this tonight. Or tomorrow.

I am developing an interest in the game and may begin posting on this board. While that may be of some concern to some of you, I assure you I have a mentor among your colleagues who, I hope, will guide me. He does drink a lot of beer, though.

Someone posted some links to sites that show match highlights a couple of weeks ago. Can we maybe put the link to that site in the OP?

You (or someone else) find them, I'll add them.

Wasn't Moreno was just found guilty/sentenced for trying to smuggle 13 lbs of heroin through JFK?

I hope this remains true!
