How good was Charlie Davies

i never paid attention to the usmnt until the 2010 WC. i learned about the team, and Charlie Davies who was supposedly tearing shite up in qualifying, got in a serious wreck. What happened to him, and how good could he have been?

He's a MNT legend in my eyes for one glorious moment, giving us hope of getting a result against the heathens in their fortress

he was the best striking partner for altidore when we played the 4-4-2 bob ball. It wasn't that he was amazing, but he was the best fit and gelled well

What made him good was his speed. We had a foward that could keep up and beat elite defenders. I just assume he could have gotten better technically without the setback. Just needed jozy to hold ball up for davies to make runs.
