FIFA back in the day... 2005 or something... liked the crest and history of the team...
didn't grow up watching soccer and thought it was dumb, boring sport... man, was i wrong...

I guess my point is that the people who are cousins with Alan Smith and who have relatives that work at Goodison, etc. could pick on your fandom the same way you do with others.
And they'd sound just as silly to me.
