Cool. I've done a lot of work in Mozambique and Zambia.

I was reading an article recently that was talking about Draxler being the greatest talent of the current German crop (which included Özil, Kroos, Gotze, Rues, et al.). I didn't see him much last season, but I made a concerted effort to watch him a lot this year and he looks for real. I think Tweezy said he glides around similarly to Zidane, and I couldn't agree more. He makes everything look super easy.

Damn, that sucks.

Oh, and that "assist" was a botched shot. Still looked cool though.

Bayern will buy him next year get rid of the keeper and be the first team to try out the 0-11-0. It's gonna be awesome.

That would be Isco.

From what I´ve seen, Draxler is über aware, uncanny for his age, incisive and elegant. I haven´t seen enough of him to get on my soapbox, but he doesn´t look like a glider to me.

Not at all, great times. Meetings are über tedious, serious, and outcomes are less than spectacular. You´re ALWAYS meeting, or scheming to get new ones.

Isco has the same approach, but with a little more samba.

Draxler is pure efficiency. German engineering at its finest.

We can do that with Neuer.

He's a definite glider. His movement is second nature, he's in and out and all over the field, covering huge chunks of space with very few steps. Draxler plays the game to the pace of an orchestra. I'm totally in love with him.

The two are pretty comparable actually, except Draxler has a hell of a shot as well.

Like I said, I haven´t seen enough, then. I do at times, think of him as a very refined Holtby.

Such a good way of putting it. There is a measured and calculated way that he plays that is really hard to quantify. It's smooth and it looks easy, and he always looks calm and collected.

which goes back to what someone said earlier, he may not have seen serious quality pressure, as of yet.

the play that starts around 2 minutes is a good example

It's hard to really show it in a Youtube video though

He plays in the UCL and the Bundesliga, I don't think we can really question the level of competition.

He's played in Champions League and played very tense Bundesliga games to qualify for the Champions League. There are certain players who never let the moment get too big for them. Pirlo and Xavi are very good examples; it's almost like an inherit trait to always possess a calm demeanor. Draxler may have that trait. He's very young but I've never watched him and thought of him as a young player. He's a definite treat.

Also, while I'm here gushing over German players, Max Kruse is really good -- 5 goals and 3 assists in 8 games so far, looking like a candidate for player of the year. Also looking like a guy who could move Mario Gomez down the German striker pecking order.
