I'm not sure at all how he can be "much more proven"

Varane has played in much bigger matches, with much more pressure, with much more attention. (Not that Draxler hasn't done these things) But el clasico may be the biggest rivalry in sports, and not only did he step up and shine but he was an animal. To stand out in games filled top to bottom with world class players is remarkable. Let alone at center back where experience may be most important. You dont see that too often. Draxler hasn't proven anything on the biggest stage.

I get that, but I equate proven with having performed well on more occasions (proving that it's not a fluke). I don't even have an opinion on who is better, I just really find it hard to say either one of them are "much more proven" than the other.

Germans don´t have allergies, your grandparents brought some faulty genes over.

Go to Germany, they´ll probably tell you probably bathe your German body too much!

My dirty Cajun genes muddied up the Aryan bloodline.

For being 20 years old they have both been remarkable. Both been great on many occasions. My point is only Varane's already at the highest level, Draxler still has a club level to go. I cant wait to see Draxler take his chance to go to that next level. This summer may be that international chance

They´re two different players, but Draxler looks to be ready for that type of environment.

I was glad he stayed in Germany this summer in lieu of transferring to RM or ManCity as it was rumored. I think that starting 40+ games a season with 2 matches against Bayern, Dortmund and Leverkusen plus Champions League is a plenty large enough stage for a young lad like himself.
