I can't hate him. He scored my favorite Arsenal goal of all-time. UEFA fricked us so hard in the return leg at the Camp Nou. I love that tricky little Russian. He was a great Arsenal player.

I still contend that his first 18 months he was amazing. Playing centrally ruined him.

Yeah he played on the left, but we had an injury crisis at striker in 2010-2011 so Wenger decided to use Arshavin there instead of doing something about it. And after he played there he didn't seem like the same player. Combine this with the fact he hit 30 and his fitness seemed to nose dive.

The real problem is everyone looked at him, thought he was 18 and the hottest prospect in Europe, without ever having checked his age.
Turned out he was 28 with a ton of miles in his legs.

I absolutely LOVE how he didn't pass the ball to Van Persie at 1:36! What is that traitorous twat up to these days? Haha.
And LOL at Vorm at 6:38. Perhaps Spuds didn't see that bit of play on the highlight tape before they signed him! Still prone to the odd howler from what I've seen of him at Shite Hart Lane.
