Has there been a bigger flop than jozy Altidore in the epl this year?

In two seasons with two different clubs in the epl he only has two goals in league play, is that correct?

Hindsight and all that, but it looks like he should have stayed put before making this move. I can't imagine this season improving confidence as we head into WC.

FIFY

Paolo should have never been managing this team to begin with

Know how I know you haven't watched Jozy play any this year?

I've seen several Sunderland games and every time he's played pretty well. Lots of energy and running around. He has given some really good cb's a tough time. The goals just haven't come yet I guess.

Yea I wouldn't say he's been a flop either. Maybe on paper it might appear that way, but he does typically play well. Sunderland is just dreadful though. It would be hard for any striker save a few of the elite to strive with that team. They're outclassed in pretty much every way, every game.
Soldado has been a much bigger disappointment,
IMO

If you would actually watch any of Sunderland's games, you would think they are purposely preventing Jozy from scoring.

Adam Johnson might be the worst midfielder I have ever seen. Along with the rest of the Sunderland midfield though.

I don't think I have seen one good cross into the box from them in the ~10 games I've watched.

It doesn't help that most of them are being played out of position.

I don't doubt that the team in general just being shitty has probably been the main factor, but shouldn't jozy or his "people" known the situation they were getting themselves into with sunderland?

Had jozy played another season with his previous club and put up similar numbers could he have landed on a better epl club?

What happens when they get relegated, will he still be playing for sunderland?

I don't think anybody thought Sunderland would be this bad (except me and SCH). Also, it's the "Best League in the World!!!!". Sunderland (A) pays better than AZ and (B) could offer AZ enough to force them to sell.

No. Also, Aron Bacon.

Probably depends on his performance in Brasil.

He hasn't scored much, but he has been involved in a decent amount of goals.

There are atleast 4 players on Tottenham which would have to be considered much bigger flops. Stupid topic.

I have watched most of his games and tbh, he could have 6-8 goals if his teamates passed to him on the backside corner of the goal but he has selfish teamates shooting instead.
