Watch closer. His tracking back is what frees up Fabian to be Fabian.
I'm guessing Jurgen is thinking the rain will make this a battle of set pieces. Play the less technical, more physical centerback and the left footed specialist.

I guess. I just do not want to get burned with Omar back there. Yes, I know Geoff cost us at least once against Portugal, but he is so much better than Omar.

Dude, I am 100 percent with you. Cameron has been awesome outside of those two mental errors. In terms of ability, he's far ahead of Gonzales, and Gonzales is also more liable to make a major frick up.
I'm not on board with this.

USA 2 - 1 Germany

Sorry if this has been answered, but is there a chance of a weather delay?

My Germans are going to blitzkrieg all over the American infidels.

He said in an interview with Schaap just now that this game is not going to be clean and less skill and technical centered.

Even though Davis is fresh, he does not defend as well as Bedoya. I hope it works out.
Omar on the pitch has been a goal every 15 minutes for our opponents lately.
Now, I am nervous for the first time.

DO NOT APPROVE OF THIS LINEUP

I'm not that freaked out about Davis. Bedoya worked so hard against Ghana, to me he looked a bit physically done in the Portugal game. Then to have to go in that heat and humidity and then do a relative quick turnaround would be difficult.
Davis will work hard, shouldn't hurt us defensively, and who knows maybe he'll do something positive. Even though Bedoya's played relatively well, it's not like he's been a creative force.
Omar, on the other hand, could be a train wreck.

this is risky from jurgen. could seriously backfire. gonna be easy what to point to with a bad result/poor performances from gonzalez and davis.
could be genius i guess.

In the first game, yeah. But Zusi spent more time on the right versus Portugal.
Again, I'm mainly worried about Omar.
