Itanjde is not the problem for Cameroon. It could have been way worse with a subpar keeper.

We haven't seen Iran's right side, but I wouldn't be surprised if Cameroon's the worst. They also have no creativity either.

Cameroon's only attacking threat comes through Assou-Ekotto, but they don't seem to want him to go further up.

Which makes the idiocy of the African qualifying format more glaring. Egypt is a better overall team than Cameroon.

Bingo.

CAF only changed the format so they could re-organize the African Cup of Nations so the tournament happens on odd years now.

Africa is a weird continent. The North African teams seem to be better technicians but the West African teams are super athletic and seem to do well against the North African teams.

The two best teams in Africa this cycle (Ghana and Egypt) get paired off in a win-or-go-home for the World Cup. That is mindless bullshite.
