To any of y’all that keep on about 7-1, smd. “Just a friendly” but Tite is a genius and we won in Germany without our best player.

Thiago Silva had a MOTM game.
Alisson is quickly becoming a top 3 keeper in the world.
Jesus is keeping a man with 36 goal contributions out of the starting XI.
It’s all clicking for us, and we’ve got one hell of a lineup.
Brazil is miles better than they ever thought of being at this time four years ago, and we’re in a great position to get this Hexa this year.

Oh and for everyone else that doesn’t feel we’re legit..

Under Tite
19 games played
15 wins
3 draws
1 loss

39 goals scored
5 goals conceded

One of which was a beautiful header by Marquinhos

Brazil looks stacked but I feel like they are a Jesus injury away from becoming a dumpster fire again.

The 2014 Brazil team had a few major holes that Germany exposed. Hell, Brazil weren’t convincing in the group stage either, outside of thrashing an awful Cameroon team. And I think the pressure of playing at home suffocated them. Even if Neymar had been healthy, I doubt they beat Germany.

This Brazil team is much better, and I think playing halfway across the world from the extremely demanding Brazilian fans and media will do them wonders. I think they are among the favorites to win, along with France and Germany.

this brazil is a much better team, but when push comes to shove, I’m taking 2018 deutschland over 2014 deutschland. will revise if necessary

I’m thinking Spain and Belgium are dark horse contenders of a high level. One playing out of their mind recently and the other with KDB.

You could put KDB on Jamaica’s team and they’d make the knockouts in WC.

Bro do you even Firmino?

The only position with no depth is right back. frick they have 2 world class goalkeepers that aren't even 25 years old yet.

Thiago Silva's suspension hurt Brazil in that game more than Neymar's injury IMO. Thiago Silva can excel at anchoring a defense. I fricking love the insane way that David Luiz plays the game, but he should never be asked to be the anchor of any defense. That's the main reason they fell apart in that game IMO.

They still probably would have lost, even with Thiago and Neymar because that team had glaring holes in the form of Fred, Dante, Luiz Gustavo, and arguably Hulk and Dani Alves. Not to mention a very far past it Julio Cesar. Alves had a bad season with Barca and it carried over to the WC. Then he went into God mode for the Treble season.

I agree. I forgot that he didn’t play that game either. He definitely would have made a big difference.

You could literally see the fear on the Brazilian players’ faces once they went down 0-2. They knew the nuclear meltdown that was coming if they lost, and that just added to the pressure. They completely lost their composure, and the Germans were merciless in punishing their mistakes.

It really was the worst case scenario against the last team you would want to face during a worst case scenario. Germany was and is a well oiled machine. In 2014 they didn't have a striker though. Now they have several.

Brazil’s A team couldn’t even score against a mid strength England team

Still a way to go

Dude I hate Germany but,

7-1.

Nobody cares about a stupid friendly. Germany probably couldn't score because they couldn't stop the internal laughter from remembering what happened the last time they played Brazil in a game that mattered.

Rebelvol you are taking way to much from this game. Germany was playing with a much weakened team on purpose to try things out as most teams do at their level. The team they fielded in the 1-1 draw against Spain was closer to their starting 11 and played at a much higher pace than yesterday's game. Starters not starting yesterday include Neuer or Ter Stagen, Hummels, Hector, Reus, Khedira, Muller, Ozil, and Werner. Even the subs brought in were for testing options.

I watch this German team play every match and believe me when I say this Brazilian team will lose by 2 goals or more when it counts. Brazil wanted some level of redemption yesterday and Germany did not care about winning just working through any questions they still have. In 2014 they drew Cameroon and Poland in their friendlies before winning the WC. In March 2010 they lost 1-0 in a friendly to Argentina before smoking that arse 4-0 at the WC.

They're a better team without that POS.

They still won't win the World Cup.
