I haven't really ignored it, but I'm trying to get all of the Euro wallpapers out of the way first. Biggest problem with your requests is that I haven't really ever done anything with actual photos. That's much different than what I typically do with just logos. After I finish the Euro wallpapers I'm willing to give your first idea a try. I've been meaning to try and start using photos anyway.

The one's I'm posting are 1680 x 1050 (8:5 ratio). If you want a different size let me know - it's not hard to adjust them. I made one for my work computer (Germany) that's 1600x1200 (4:3 ratio)
