Get a decent set of sliders.
I can either win big or lose big on legendary, but there's never any realism to it. Sliders change all that. The stock settings of the game are goofy.

I use sliders and I still have pet peeves in this game.
The thing that bothers me the most? Through balls are completely broken.
You can only use semi assisted. Manual through balls wont work because you can't get enough power on them. The through balls rarely go to the right man. It really sucks when your players, who are generally retarded when it comes to making runs into space, actually make a good run and your through ball goes to a guy two feet away from you. Sometimes the through ball just has way too much power on it (despite just tapping Y [xbox]). Don't get me started on through balls to a player running down the sideline. 2/3 of the time or more it will just get kicked wayyyyy ahead of your player and go out of bounds. It's stupid when you can't lead a player making a run down the sideline with a decent ball.

ETA: But really, it's infuriating.
Side note: In MM, I just signed a 17 y/o left mid. He's right footed but has 5* weak foot and skills. He's a 77 ovr after 1 game at the end of the season. His potential was 90-94. 70+ pace and stamina, 85+ dribbling, curve, FK acc, and crossing.

Was he from your academy? Or did you buy him from another club?

I saw the sliders from Matt10 on Operation Sports were listed. I tried them out but found the 20 pass speed to be ridiculous. I might try them with 50 pass speed and see what happens.

THIS. You'd think you would have more control and accuracy if you switch to manual, but it's like the consistency of the through ball is even less if you switch to manual. I leave it on assisted because like you said, just barely tapping the button will often just launch the ball out of bounds or to the keeper. It really takes the fun out of the game. Here's to hoping it gets fixed in FIFA 16.
Anyone know if they'll ever bring back the 11v11 multiplayer mode?

I just hate it when I'm heading to the corner and want to cross a ball into the box and the player launches it behind the goal.

I was just dicking around and simed the rest of my season and not saving it, I applied for the FCK job after they got relegated back to the second division again for like the 3rd time since I started manager mode and they rejected me

I was going to do a career with Galatasaray, but for some reason the Turkish Cup competition is not on the game. Kind of ruined it for me as I was hoping for a treble.

Scouted from Argentina for my youth academy. Probably my best scouted player ever. Might be tied with a Korean I signed at CB who was 6'6" 75 ovr or the American GK I signed who was 6'5" and a 74 ovr but grew to a 77 after 3 months.
ETA: I'm a geek for the youth scouting system. It's my favorite part of the game, despite its many faults.

Same. I hate the first three or so seasons. I get more fun out of scouting and building a powerhouse through the youth system than I do actually playing. I hope they eventually being U21 sides to the game, like they do the AHL in the NHL games.
That player sounds badass. Probably the best I've ever gotten was a LB named Max? Bornstein from the US (I always have a scout there because I'm usually always the USMNT coach) and when I pulled him out at 17 he was a 77 overall with high physical stats and this was before I knew the "post, Pre-May system" with the academy. He ended up being 90+, fast as frick and a complete forward and defender.
Also, I started up a player career mode that I created back at launch (so that when I buy all the pro points in the catalog I get them all for like the five Be a Pro's I start) and the commentary is acting kind of weird and it wasn't doing this pre-Xbox One update earlier this week. It's pronouncing Jesus Navas' name as Jesus Gonzalez and also calling Willy Caballero "Alvarado Caballero". Those are the only two I've notice but I thought that was weird AF.

I usually don't have a youth scouting system for the first three or so seasons of a MM. I'd much rather scout and buy real prospects from smaller clubs and bring them into my setup.
Fighting other clubs for regens are also fun as time goes on. I picked up a Drogba one in my Everton one and turned him into a better version of Lukaku.

Definitely. Ithink I got a Ronaldo regen or maybe a random regen since he was at Benfica, but he was a Portuguese RW, 6'4 and had 98 speed. He was ridiculous.
