Fox and Telemundo's combined rights are the highest in the world, and that's not even counting the additional hosting bonus they paid for for 2026. It's considered one of the best bargains in sports rights (remember the shady AF deal FIFA made with them).
The deal with Fox is over after this WC, and you're crazy if you don't think FIFA will point to these ratings to drive the price up over a billion dollars.. Netflix and Amazon (along with NBC) are rumored to be interested and they have zero problems overpaying for it. This is going to be a huge win unfortunately for FIFA.
