They're not going to be as revolutionary as they're making it seem, but there are some positive changes to career mode.
Some somewhat cool things on manager customization/morale, but dynamic player potential is the big takeaway here IMO. Also, seems like they've made adjustments to address unrealistic fixture congestion and AI not starting good lineups in big matches.

Dynamic potential is good but they desperately need to have dynamic weak foot and skills and the ability to see these stats in scouting. Nothing worse than scouting and signing a guy that looks like a future superstar only to have to cut him loose upon signing him because you find out he has 1 star skills or weak foot.
Volta mode is the only thing that has a chance of suckering me in since I loved the most recent FIFA Street and pretty much every EA Sports ________ Street title (NBA Street Vol 2 da GOAT).

I really don't understand how they haven't figured it out with career mode. You used to gain skill moves in pro clubs/player career for successfully pulling off a certain number of moves with your current skill level, iirc.

That sounds all well and good, but will that dynamic work if you send them out on loan? Otherwise it'll be another year of not even bothering with loaning young players out.

Did loans not work? I would always list some young players as available for loan, but I would never get offers.

Yikes, just read dynamic potential is only for players on the user’s team. If they are on an AI controlled team the potential is hard set.

Well that's part of the problem too, it would be hit or miss on getting a loan offer. But no, they would always come back the same as they were before they left. I think I remember one instance where a high potential player gained a single point increase when he returned.

For loans, I'd have to loan list them, then once I received an offer for a loan move, place them for sale, then accept the loan offer. Worked about 90% of the time.

I wish there was a way to "force" a loan. Where you can initiate the loan offer.

That sucks. It'd be fun if people in another league randomly popped off like Piatek did and then their potential was skyrocketing. It would give you incentive to buy different players instead of consulting a website for the same wonderkids.

Yeah I thought this was kinda the main point of the idea, I absolutely lack the self-control necessary to keep myself from going on sofifa and just looking up every player I’m considering since I never get deeper than like 6-7 years into my career modes

I don’t know why you can’t ever import your career mode data and continue in the new platform. Maybe if I buy enough fut packs?

They've updated Pro Clubs. The changes seem solid, but it's still EA.

Some of these look good on paper but you just know they’ll be some classic EA frickery with how it’s actually implemented.

Still don't understand how they haven't implemented an online career mode. NCAA Football had online franchise about 10 years ago and FIFA still hasn't done it.

Beta codes are out. I got kickoff and Volta. Kinda excited to see whatsup with the new game mode.
