Don't get me wrong. I love this year's game so far. My only real complaint is the ridiculously weak fouls. I know they're trying to make defending in the box more stressful, but if they hip check me while I stand in one place, there's no way I can justify a penalty. It'd be one thing if it was a rare shitty bit of luck. This year, some players go down if you run within 5 yards of them with any pace, and they draw fouls for it. Once they tone that back just a little bit, I'll be completely happy with it.
I'm all about build-up play. I love slow build ups, hold up play, and pinpoint passes in tight situations. It just looks better to me. I also love that Rooney is actually an animal instead of being below high-tiers because he isn't 86 pace. His strength and balance with average speed makes him a god. I also love passing outside of instances where I'm putting every pass into a defender's feet, but I have a hunch that it's just me being too aggressive.
Honestly, FUT Seasons is the only mode that's pissed me off or annoyed me at all this year. Every other mode has been awesome and fun to play with minimal nonsense. I mean, Pro Clubs Drop Ins and the geniuses who join only to attempt and fail at skilling, refuse to pass, and shoot repeatedly without ever coming close got me to raise my voice for a hot minute. Outside of that, though, it's been great.

I wish they would bring back teamplay. That was one of the best multiplayer features. It's as close as you can get to a FPS style of soccer game.

Ok so I still have the no touch moves question.
But in American/FIFA questions, what do y'all think about Fabian Johnson's rating? Dude starts for BM in every game he's healthy yet has a lower rating than all of their other wingers. Does FIFA undervalue him or do they overestimate the abilities of his teammates?

Inconsistency. If I have full fitness and have just played well for 5 games straight, the sudden inability for my players to maintain possession or really any resemblance of a footballer whatsoever. Everyone experiences it, too. A winning streak is met by your players suddenly becoming "lethargic" for a few matches. It's not a lag or chemistry thing either. I've packet sniffed, traffic monitored, analyzed connections, tweaked TCP and UDP connection settings (such as time to drop and whatnot), and even turned off everything but my TV and Xbox 360 and now Xbox One with it plugged directly to the wall with a gigabit connection giving it all the loving it can handle.
Some people claim it's a handicapping mechanic, but I think it's less complex than that. I believe it's half issues in routing between EA Servers (which you're always connected to during FUT or really any time you CAN access internet) and half "decreased performance" when a player uses one squad unchanged for a substantial amount of time. I believe they slowly decrease the performances between consecutive matches without changes to the squad.
It may be mental, but I've noticed that when I rotate squads every two games, I'm more consistent in FUT. Mind you I don't have this problem outside of FUT. It's a FUT thing. It doesn't matter if I'm using Third In-Form Hazard on FIFA 14. He still seems like someone took the wind out of his sails. For a while it confused me because I got TIF Hazard late so he should have been fresh, but I realized that I had just replaced a normal Hazard with TIF Hazard.
Remember, FUT is really all about an economy that drives pack sales. If you could get a solid team with no need for another, no one would ever use anything but their "Ultimate Team". People would be less likely to be involved in the market and buying packs if they can get their best players and be done with it. I mean, maybe it's mental, but when I see a team full of in-forms or TOTW/TOTY cards like Ronaldo and Messi, I pretty much am guaranteed to win. Play a 79 rated gold squad? Struggle to keep up. The more valuable the card, the quicker it loses its mojo with use. I mean in REALLY small increments, not major ones. It seems to apply to UT modes across EA Sports too. Mix this with subpar routing creating small delays on a player who isn't feeling up to task, and you get a squad who can't get a shot off, whiff and fall down on shots, and have fully weighted passes slowly crawl across the pitch. This year fitness drains much faster which actually makes sense, but even at full fitness it happens. Sometimes, your players just flat out won't play for you. You even notice players committing to shitty runs that you can't stop. I'm not saying that it's really some huge EA screwjob. I just think that they make adjustments to performances of FUT squads mid-match based on more than just the current performance/chem/fitness levels. I think there's a ton of metrics out there they use to keep the game fun and money flowing in that lead to noticeably ridiculous, inconsistent play.
It's half conspiritard shite, half technological issues. Strangely, though, I have yet to face a single issue in the balanced FIWC mode outside of tired players. Look up all of the theories people have to avoid this decline and whatnot. It doesn't prove anything, but it shows you how widespread this behavior is and has been for years. FUT WAS AN INSIDE JOB.

Lol no idea if that's what they are actually called, but it's the moves you can do when holding LB (I think?). you can feint left and right without touching the ball. Works pretty well once you get it down. It's a new feature this year.

I have taken the Rangers approach this first years. Loads of young players on loan from big clubs
United- Wilson, Fletcher, Johnston and McNair
City- Nacho and Barker
Bayern - Green
Spurs - Oduwa was able to snag him bc Rangers is not in the game but for some reason Zelalem is not on Arsenal for me to pick up. Maybe he shows up after this year when the loan is done.
Fulham - Hyndman
I about to get Nacho on a free from City bc he is in the last year of his contract
