I'm still on 12 and yeah I get PKs. Yellow cards are few and far between. I have seen the CPU get one red in the time I've played this game.

Through 10 career mode matches with Fulham, I've seen the opponent get two...twice as many as I saw last year.
Robert Huth crushed Berbatov with a sliding tackle from behind...straight red.

Also love how different teams are playing true to their styles. West Ham lobs long balls the entire match. Arsenal play more fluid and on the ground.
It's not like you're playing the same teams over and over again. Tactics are more important, which I love.

I found that teams did in 13 as well though. I always thought Swansea and Arsenal were tough opponents because of their passing and smart build-up play.
They made Stoke too good with their physical abilities though.

I got this for PS3 this year and will trade up for the PS4 version when it comes out. I usually get it for the 360. I like the gameplay a lot better this year, but does it lag in the menus for anyone else? It's painfully slow reacting when I try to sub or scout in manager mode.

The menus are terrible and ruin Manager Mode. I've played it for about 8 hours and just got through my first season. I'm assuming they built it for the ps4 hardware, but I don't know how anyone would be OK with the lag. I don't need the game to spend 5 seconds loading my squad when I'm trying to go transfer someone.
Actual soccer gameplay is much better, I'm just furious they ruined my favorite part of the game.(Manager Mode)

Actually, the PS4 has a completely different architecture, x86, and tool set from the PS3's CELL processor. The CELL is notoriously hard to develop for, which is why they switched so drastically for the PS3. Either way, though, the next-gen FIFA14 uses the Ignite Engine so a lot of it probably got cut. I don't notice it being awful in the PC version, but I haven't played enough to get annoyed by it yet. It's probably just an issue with the current consoles as a result of changing the interface instead of reusing the ones from the past few. So, they probably just fricked up the menus since they were focused on the next-gen copy, a game that was used to reveal their new engine. Hopefully, they can patch in a fix with some optimizations to cut down the time, but honestly, I'd say just to get used to it. Madden 12 had that issue, and I thought for sure it'd be the first thing on the list to fix. I waited for a patch to fix it... until now because they suck.
The only kudos I have to give EA is that they don't bastardize their PC ports like the NBA2K franchise just because they charge less for them.

I played manager mode on the PS3 via season ticket and own it on PC.
Lag on my PC is nonexistent. Lag on PS3 rendered manager mode virtually unplayable.

I honestly can't go back to playing the console version. The PC version is just such a step up, even if they don't push the hardware to its limit. I can't wait for the chant packages to come out for it so I can hear all of the "frick you, Chelsea" chants in all of their glory.

I used to be an exclusive PC Fifa player until I got the PS3. I used to carry a gamepad in my backpack to play while I was working in the CEBA computer lab in 06'. Its pretty ridiculous that I have to go back to PC to enjoy it again because the PS3 can't handle it.

Update your drivers and check your RAM with Memtest. A lot of times those two are all I need when someone asks me to check out their computer. If one sector of RAM is faulty, get new RAM. A lot of times Best Buy will sell decent PNY 4GB sticks of RAM for like 15-20 bucks just to move it. Join the PC revolution!

Me too. I'm so jealous. The best player I have right now is Forlan. I'm taking on the task of trying to fit Hoilett somewhere without ruining my chemistry. Dude's awful at defending but a 91 pace this early in the game is definitely nice.

He isn't bad, I just don't have anywhere for him to go. Too many Frenchman on my team that are decent to start with, Scumbag Ultimate Team. Got to have that chemistry high so my team'll drink beer together and shite. With all of the French cats, a denim soldier Canadian would kill the vibe.
