Not surprised at all. On many levels.
I was just a few years out of college when I spent my years in China, I am lucky I'm alive (and I didn't watch as much football as I would have liked).

I'm sure there's other chinamen who watched every single game and are just fine right now. You don't really need to stay up all night to watch a 2 hour game.
