Wonder what squad we'll put out there on Sunday

Cant say I'm mad either, but you have to appreciate the effort both of these guys put out for the club.
You can say that about these two players (especially Dirk) more than other players this season.
No doubt. More of an inside joke than anything else. I have always said how much I appreciate Kuyt. My issue with him has never been his heart or work rate. I've always said how much I love him as a sub.

Doesn't matter, because I won't be watching.

Remember who won when it mattered.
When Chelsea fold in Munich and are out of Europe all together next year, you can look back and curse the 6 points dropped vs Liverpool in league play this season. Damn it feels good to be a gansta.

Did we not win the FA Cup? Doesn't that put you in Europa? What we did today was stupid, however we still have a match to play that does matter.

Just finished up watching the recording.
Well that was fun!
Now we just need a win at Swansea this weekend, and for Everton to either lose or draw at home to Newcastle. And that would make my memories of this season a little less shitty.

Warren Barton was spot on. Chelsea probably did a little too much partying after the win Saturday.

John Terry looked drunk...

Ok I give.. I tried to look up what that would get you besides moving above Everton and being 7th... bragging rights is all?

I think Carling Cup is the automatic Europa Qualifier.

Yes

Basically, yes. But it's kind of a big deal on the Merseyside.

I thought so. It amazes me of comments on here sometimes. So to whomever said it would be funny when we weren't in Europe at all next year----->
ETA: I also read that if the FA cup winner is in the CL, then the runner up gets the spot, so Pool should be cheering for Chelsea!!!!

Nope.
Liverpool have already qualified for Europa League because of their Carling Cup victory (hence the former name of the competition: The European Cup Winners Cup). I don't know where that last Europa League spot goes if Chelsea (the possibility of heaven forbid) win the UCL.

the "spare" UEFA Europa League place will go to either the cup runners-up or the highest placed league team which has not already qualified for European competition, depending on the rules of the national association.

As well as being presented with the trophy, the winning team also qualifies for the UEFA Europa League (formerly named the UEFA Cup), even if being relegated. In the event the FA Cup winners are qualified for the UEFA Champions League the FA Cup runners-up will qualify
Wait what were you saying "nope" to?

Bho claiming that Mickey Scousers should be cheering for the EBJT's club during the UCL Finals, because it would allow them a spot in the Europa League that would otherwise go to Chelsea.
