F### You Stoke - A Poem / Rant

You had nothing to play for, and yet you fouled and cheated your way to a tie... And now the golden child must play in the Championship.
Bolton had devastating injuries and and near-death experiences to contend with. You had Peter Crouch's face. Bolton were the emotional favorite. I mean, Fabrice Muamba almost died. He almost fricking died. But they never gave up. The mountain that Bolton had to climb was taller than Everest, yet the peak was in sight.
And they almost made it.
Almost.
And yet you were there to end their dream of staying up. The dream that the small guy can overcome endless adversity and strive for something greater than 2nd division football.
The dream that Stu Bear could yet again boss the PL midfield like the kilt wearing badass he is.
frick you Stoke. frick you a lot.
Fuuuuucccccccccckkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk.

Stoke's first goal was sketch as all frick and the foul that gave them the equalizing PK was not a foul.
Poor Stu.
Poor Stu.

At least we don't have to hear Owen Coyle insert "the Barclay's Premier League" into every sentence next year.

A fine prose poem. Denise Lermontov would be proud.

Ream is not forgotten, but let's be honest, it's really Holden that can compete at PL level without a problem so the drop is really detrimental to him. A year in the Championship probably isn't a terrible thing for Ream (obviously PL would have been better but oh well). I hope this next year can be a recovery year for Bolton (and Holden), they gain promotion, and then Stu and Tim can be back and better prepared to kick arse in the PL.

Poor Stu. I guess I'll have a boss go to team to get the "Raise a team up a tier" achievement on FIFA. Stu in the Championship... Yikes.

I don't see how Holden does anything but absolutely obliterate the Championship.

how long does Stu have on his contract? bc he has proven quality and can probably make it on another relegation level team next year

His contract runs through 2013. It should be interesting to see what Stu does next year if Bolton doesn't make it back up.
Also, I think we can say that Stu could probably do pretty well for many EPL teams, and not just bottom feeders.
