I thunk everyone knew the Dutch were going to concede at least one goal. I figured they would hope for 3-1 at the best but would more likely need to win 4-2.

Yep and Germany don't really care. The individual players are going to try to score of course, but they won't be playing for the win.

Looked fine at the beginning of the game, but Portugal has controlled the first half. It could easily be 2-1 and maybe 3-1.

Well I mainly meant that Germany will be content to play for the draw. I thought Denmark would have to win by 2 anyway.

Denmark just has to win to advance. A draw is fine for Germany, but no team plays for the draw...that is the quickest way to a loss.

That happens all the time in group play. If it's still 1-1 at 75', I seriously doubt Germany presses.
