Whoa. hold up. He's made wearing brown shoes famous among Everton fans such as myself over the past few months.

Gilberto Silva's English isn't too good, but he makes good points. He was the only expert who said he didn't think Spain would advance out the group.

I meant no offense but they did not go with that cool suit.

And yeah, I saw Ruud yesterday - I meant he didn't appear on air for today until the England/Italy match and they switched over to ESPN.

I have enjoyed Roberto and Ruud. Ballack, not so much.

And I didn't care for the British blondie on the late night WC recap show.

True story:

I went to New York a few years ago for a bachelor party. We were looking for a place to watch some game (Chelsea, probably) the next morning. We were passing Jack Demsey's on 33rd and I said "hey, I'll pop in and ask."

I walk in, there's a short, not skinny/not fat, attractive chick with light blonde hair tending bar. I walk up to ask her about the game. She opens her mouth and out comes the most amazing British/Irish(?) accent ever.

I almost dumped my wallet out on the bar, and asked her if I could move in with her.

Almost.

I have no idea what she said.

Why Scores?

I'd have dropped 5K at Demsey's if I thought it would have helped.

I don't hate him at all but when he has an opinion, then HE HAS AN OPINION, if you know what I mean.

He's very........stubborn.

But I must say, he has aged very well and I find him very attractive.

But then again, I love gingers and soccer players so he's quite the perfect storm.

His attitude is so different than what his appearance in 1994 would suggest though.

Yeah, I didn't agree with him on the whole argument where he was adamant about the US having to win a certain way under Klinsmann because Klinsmann promised a certain type of play. However, I didn't get angry with him and start calling him stupid and saying he should be fired or anything.

Definitely.

Not only his physical appearance but also his "image" - he was portrayed as this guitar playing, laid back, hippie dude.

Now he's very rigid in his opinions and wears sharp suits and red driving shoes.
