I´ve got to admit, I expected them to slump, but not this much.
To be fair, much is not his fault, but I´m still of the opinion that even with ´his´players, this job is too big for him.

What would need to be done even with a new manager? Get rid of all the older players, a massive influx of new transfers?

I don't really follow them, they don't seem very interesting to me this season, so I have no clue what their issues are.

Doubt he was concerned with that. It's not like it's really possible. Would have been easier to protect his legacy if he stayed an extra year and spent a couple hundred million.

No, what´s he´s achieved can´t be questioned, for sure. However, were someone to have come in and torn it up this season, would have taken a bit of lustre off, for sure.

The fact of the matter is that Moyes needs more time. I think given some time he could probably adjust. Not to the level we are used to, but top 4 quality again without a doubt. I'd be fine with giving him more time, HOWEVER
he's literally shown nothing, absolutely nothing. His team selections have been subpar, his tactics and unwillingness to adjust (which is odd for him b/c apparently he's supposed to be some kind of reactionary tactical genius) have been awful.
I'll say it again, I think given another year he could and would improve but I think it's too late. He's lost the confidence of the fans, and is borderline losing the locker room it appears. I hate to say it because I don't want the position to become a revolving door, but he's got to go. Give me Kloppo or someone with experience managing a massive club with massive players.
