For an example of what happens to a manager who refuses to, or can't, adapt see none other than AVB.

Bottom line, I think we looked like shite today. We got 3 points and with 3 games in 7 days, I'll take it. RDM isn't the answer, he isn't good. Roman dug his own grave on that. I don't know what is philosophy is or trying to be. All I know is that I love Chelsea and want them to win.

I don't think he knew how to play with a deep line. He was out of his depth. The young coach/old team dynamic never really works though. There are plenty of coaches who don't change their philosophy throughout their entire career, but that doesn't mean they don't change their system. It's two different things.

I know. What are you referencing?

Someone earlier listed him among several other managers in a point to show that all successful managers have a certain system they always employ.

Of course. The original point I made is that I haven't seen an RDM coached squad have a real identity. I'm just curious to know his philosophy which Chelsea fans responded with "I'm not sure he has one." As someone who enjoys watching Chelsea play, that worries me.

Well I think they definitely had an identity last year and while it was ugly it was successful.

However, most people want "beautiful" as well so we went out and got a bunch of young creative players. I think it will take some time to see what RDM tries to do with it. I wasn't wholly pleased with what I saw today but I'm going to give it more than one game befor I start really worrying.

No, well, not until Pool and Arsenal trolls start crying about pretty football, while their teams can't score or win.

Lololololol

I have never once, ever, said Liverpool plays pretty football. I hope we can eventually get to that point though.

Great pass and run by Nasri and Tevez but the GK should never be beat near post.

WBA scored a nice strike, Pool went down to 10, played like shite, couldn't finish chances and the Baggies went in dry to the anus.

Pretty self explanatory. But if by "come around" you mean troll the other threads, I shan't. I'm not one for endless trolling. I stick to what I know

Are you fricking high? I literally don't think I've ever, in my entire life, seen a Liverpool supporter claim they play attractive football.

That was me and it still holds true. He has a philosophy that he brings to every club. His tactics of course change a bit when alternating between leagues. But once there, he employs a system and sticks to it (my whole point).
