At first, I thought he was just feigning an injury. Wow!

Aguero may be done for the year. It didn't look terrible, but his reaction tells the tale.

Right, because Real Madrid play the same way as Chelsea, Porto, and Inter.

No shite. He has a system at Madrid that is in place and excels.

Brilliant

I can't wait to see him somewhere other than Barca and I can pretty much guarantee you wherever he ends up won't look much like Barca at all.

Of course it wont. You're going out on a limb here. He'll never have the talent he had at Barcelona, but he will try to imitate the system.

Good thing they didn't sell Dzeko.

I think it's only an ankle tweak. Looks like he might come back on.

Edit: or not

If Aguero's injury is serious I will quit the fantasy league.

Nothing says ankle tweak, like going down clutching his knee. With Aguero you never know. Anytime I see a knee injury, I look at the players face. Aguero looked like he knew he was done.

Southampton look pretty decent actually. Caught a couple of their games last year and they were fun to watch.

Does it matter the quality of the players. We are talking about playing a system. And to say he almost screwed it up makes me believe you didn't watch the World Cup or the Euros.

Do some fricking research you fool. Wenger system used to be built on athletic players who could score within 4 of 5 passes. Now he is more possession orientated.

Pep will always coach the same way. Its how he played and has coached. He is proud of the style he plays.

Seriously do you know anything about football besides John Terry?

His face told the tale, IMO. Sucks for City.

Jesus. Get off your high horse.

If you're asking what RDM's philosophy is just in general, the answer is we don't know. He's managed in the PL for less than two full seasons. I don't think any manager in any sport has his tactics fully hashed out less than three years into his managerial career.

I think what we've seen is what we'll get. He seems to be defensive-minded, opportunistic and wants to be creative in the midfield with a lone, go-to forward. We'll see how that works out, but that's what we can gather from his time, at least at Stanford Bridge

Haha yeah. It just seemed like he landed awkwardly on his ankle. Didn't really see a sign of a major knee injury in how he went down. We'll see.
