I don't think it reads like he's supporting the winter WC. Just that if they keep it in Qatar, there's no way summer will work.

For some reason, I get the feeling that no matter the outcry, no matter how many problems there are, they will hold the world cup in Qatar no matter what.

Like I've said if heat is a problem why not build stadiums modeled after the University of Phoenix Stadium? You can move the pitch outside for some sun and play the games indoors with the a/c on.

It's like FIFA doesn't even care at all that everyone knows they are corrupt. The attitude seems to be "So. What are you going to do about it?"
It's a shame. Soccer fans deserve better than having such B.S. ruin something as important as the World Cup.

Sadly you are correct. I thought some of the heads of the more powerful FAs would step up and fight a little but it seems like many are just falling in line.

Ironically, University of Phoenix Stadium was modeled after Schalke's Veltins-Arena, which hosted several WC games when it was in Germany back in 2006.
