I don't like Chelsea or Liverpool but I'd take Gerrard. Regardless, that's not really my point, just that without Rooney they just don't have any creative players outside of Gerrard. Lampard would definitely qualify as one for this team. Young is really the only other candidate.

Case in point, Gerrard has either scored or assisted on 4 out of England's last five goals at international tournaments. Allegedly (it was tweeted by some British journalist and I'm not going to fact check). I know he has assisted on their two goals this tournament and did score against us so it sounds about right.

Germany never burned down the White House, playa. No reason to put German in quotation marks either. I'm 1/4 German, never claimed to be more or less.

Boom.

HAHAH Ibra just yelled in Harts face, and cursed him out.

It was audible through the field microphone.

Oh well my mistake.

There are as many Arsenal players as Chelsea players on this roster by the way.

Lucky me, England might be forced to bring on Ox/Walcott for offense now

Cmon, Lampard injured Cahill injured....they were both in camp. Go read some of your "history" while we live ours.

Anyone else not that impressed with Welbeck? He has been invisible just about every time I've watched him, for Utd and England
