as long as Tata is matching up vs Gregg
we looked good in the first half but what a tactical master class from Tata in the second half
He gave a fricking lesson, our national team manager getting grown man lesson is embarrassing.
Gregg's subs
and that was Mexico's B squad

Is it to Early to wish for a change? Gregg is just not that good lol

It was the execution that was our problem. It looked like we had more chances than Mexico, but our forwards kind of fricking suck.

I'm just dumbfounded that the USSF still sucks this much arse as an organization.

Ok so explain the tactical masterclass

I keep seeing this but let's not act like that's our first choice XI. Brooks, Yedlin, Adams, Nagbe weren't suited up for us tonight either.
We badly need Weah to pan out. If we're going to play a 4-3-3 then Morris and Arriola can't be two of our top wide options

for one
once our press became non existent he had their back four push up like way up
every time we lost the ball to them they just recycled it to their midfield who was having a field day vs MB.

We did in the first half, until changes were made. Thats the point of this thread.

Mexico had more possession in the second half but they had the same chances as us at best. They didn’t exactly blow us away. We sucked in the box, plain and simple. We will have a great midfield these next few years and we need a game changing forward to match. Once that happens it’ll be night and day.

did you even watch tonight
the second half was embarrassing
Tata made spot on adjustments

This is hella reactionary... we were the better team for the first 45 and we were missing a lot of key players this tournament as well.
We’re behind Mexico right now, but this no hope take is a tad over the top.

but thats the point
Tata adjusted to our tactics
Gregg had no answer

You’re being obtuse to Broskis point
We are all angry
But your woe is us, we’ll never be competitive in meaningful games attitude is hyperbolic.
Gregg went 1 half for 1 half with Tata, his elder with a decade more coaching experience than him.
Calling for Greggs head is way premature.
Just the fact we are all caring again about the USMNT is nice.

One match... let’s see how we respond... yeah it sucks right now but jeez, it’s funny that you of all people are melting over a Gold Cup loss
Posted on 7/7/19 at 10:40 pm to Broski
