Good deal chief.

Foyth does not look Argentinean at all

The best Argentina team was probably the 2006 one. That team goal against Serbia was superb.

Oh I agree. I remember when Rojo was a fullback for them back at the 2014 World Cup. He was the most recent ‘hyped’ fullback I can remember as well.

2002 was such a flop but that squad was way past its prime. People still screaming for Bielsa to play Riquelme.

As crazy as it sounds, Argentina is probably a much better team if they play Messi deep

How was this only 4 additional minutes

Haiti comin for that booty tonight

One would think that Argentina could produce some passers like Riquelme too.

Not that crazy, but Messi loves that right-center channel so much. They need a winger to stretch play on the otherside too. I think Messi played pretty well tonight though.
Messi creates his own issues tactically, mainly because he doesn't really want to defend and needs the ball to his feet. But he could do work playing balls from a deeper position.

Damn, people are slagging off Foyth on Reddit.
I get he didn't have a great game, but he's a 21 year old playing out of position against one of the best teams in the world. Does Argentina really not have a true RB?

LOL
the epitome of Argentina soccer, Messi runs around with the ball darting in and out of defenders, while everyone of his team mates stands around, not knowing what to do.

I didn't even watch the match but I could've guessed that was the case.

I don’t think they don’t know what to do.
I think that at this point of his career they’re too afraid to frick up when the game comes to pressure situations
Look at Barca in knockout games. Against Liverpool all they needed was one goal. As soon as they scored that 4th the team just locked up and watched Messi
