This is cracking me up. Have you actually watched many of his games? He isn't just a scorer. He picks the right passes, gets in great positions all of the time, and is very strong on the ball. He is also 21 years old. He is having a phenomenal year because he is a phenomenal player. Just wait.

Not doubting his potential at all just not ready to put him up there with the very best in the league quite yet.

Even Sturridge banged in 20 last year and he might as well be the new glass man of the league..

I have watched several of his games and like I said he's having a great year, but one year where you put up 20 something goals is exactly that, one year. If he does it again next year then I think he's someone who probably deserves more credit. But for example, Lukaku has has scored 10+ goals in the league several years in a row now and has been doing it for awhile and is the same age. His hype is well deserved right now, but that's all it is. Hype and possibly a fluke season.

I hope that ism't the case though and I doubt it will be. He does seem to be just a natural goal scorer. I hope he's here to stay.

Sturridge
Kane has the same number of goals right now (24) that Sturridge finished with last season.

That doesnt change the fact it is still ONE season. No one is doubting his potential or ability to possibly recreate this, but we shouldn't be so rushed to call him one of the top in the league for many years to come.

That doesn't change the fact that this is the FIRST season he has gotten major playing time.

I think there is good reason to have skepticism, if the only thing you are watching is highlights of his goals and assists. From someone who has watched every game the guy has played this year, he is 100% legitimate. Just wait.

I'm talking about EPL.

Stu had 21. I'll be willing to talk if Kane gets there.

That'll happen when you get to Europe. You guys had to qualify even. I think he'll end up with more than Sturridge, but he's still played quite a few extra matches.

Everyone throwing around PL goal stats should remember that Kane didn't even start for the first quarter of the season.

Also, to the person who said they were surprised that Courtois and De Bruyne didn't fight in Brazil, I think that I read somewhere that Marc Wilmots asked De Bruyne if he should boot Courtois, and De Bruyne said no because they needed him. If true, De Bruyne has no confidence in Mignolet.

Because you could never possibly live up to the greatness of the man who owns that name. Makes perfect sense.

Kun just scored a hat trick.

Kane hasn't even scored one yet.

I'd still take Kun all day over him.
